The Lodge’s unique location into the foothills of the Sibun National Forest Reserve provides a rich natural environ- ment for numerous species of birds.
The Lodge offers a morning bird watching tour commencing at dawn and runs through to around 7:30 am. During this time, the birds are most active and a variety can be seen as we transition from the river side to the jungle. Some of these birds include Orange Breasted Falcon, keel-billed Toucan (National Bird of Belize), Blue-crowned Mot-Mot, Violaceous Trogan, Grey-necked Wood-Rail, Collared Forest Falcon, and a host of other exotic bird species.
