The Belize Songwriter Festival is back again this year, and it promises to be just as unforgettable as the last! Join us at The Lodge at Jaguar Reef for two days of soulful melodies and beachside fun. Plus, get the chance to meet and connect with the talented singers and songwriters who are set to perform—it all takes place on May 23rd and 24th, 2025.
This year’s festival lineup is a stellar one, with a total of ten performers slated to grace the stage over two days. Kick things off with cocktail hour at 5 pm on the 23rd and enjoy a refreshing tipple as the sun sets over the Caribbean Sea. Then, drink in hand, head over to the main stage for some eclectic performances courtesy of Craig Campbell, Rob Williford, and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Rebecca Lynn Howard. Together, the three artists have a slew of chart-topping hits to charm festival-goers with.
After the main show, take advantage of Jaguar Reef’s complimentary shuttle service to Mango’s Bar. Mango’s cozy seaside location will be the setting for the Friday night breakout session where Riley Roth and Nate Kenyon will be performing from 8 pm to 10 pm. While there, be sure to meet and mingle with the artists as well as fellow country music enthusiasts. At the end of the night, hop on the shuttle and head back to Jaguar Reef.
With The Belize Collection as the official venue partner, festival attendees can book a stay at any of our Hopkins properties—The Lodge at Jaguar Reef, Almond Beach Resort, The Colonial Inn, and Villa Margherita. Unwind after a night of fun in your room of choice, whether that’s a 2-bedroom penthouse perfect for groups or something on the cozy side like a sea view suite or beachfront cottage. Then, get ready to do it all again on Saturday.
For Day Two of the Belize Songwriter Festival, look forward to the soulful tunes of three talented hitmakers. Platinum-selling singer Jamie O Neal will be joined by Rodney Clawson, who has written songs for country music greats like Tim McGraw, and multi-hit songwriter Jason Duke from 5:30 pm to 7:30 PM at Jaguar Reef. From there, it’s a short walk to Play Bar for the break-out session of the night, which doubles as the festival’s grand finale. Expect dynamic performances by JD Wood and Belize Songwriter Festival founder, Lucas Hoge.
